NSYNC Merchandise Creative Direction Proposal

This proposal outlines an ongoing partnership as Merchandising Creative Director for NSYNC. The objective is to provide creative leadership throughout the merchandise development process, working alongside management and merchandising partners to develop thoughtful, premium products that celebrate the band's legacy while continuing to engage both longtime and new fans.

Creative Approach

Great merchandise is more than strong graphics—it's the result of thoughtful creative direction, product strategy, and collaboration. By establishing a clear creative vision at the beginning of each collection, merchandising partners can develop products with greater focus, consistency, and flexibility while allowing room for fresh ideas and evolving trends.

Scope of Creative Direction

• Develop collection themes and seasonal concepts.

• Develop original artwork and creative assets when appropriate to establish or support the creative direction of a collection.

• Provide creative direction to merchandising partners.

• Review concepts and provide creative feedback.

• Support product development throughout the lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for new products and merchandise categories.

• Collaborate with management, licensing, vendors, and merchandising partners.

• Support the approval process from concept through production.

• Help maintain the overall creative vision of the merchandise program.

Initial Creative Development

The accompanying presentation includes mood boards, visual direction, color exploration, and five original merchandise concepts intended to demonstrate the proposed creative direction for future NSYNC merchandise.

Concept Development

The merchandise concepts included in this presentation represent original creative work developed specifically for NSYNC and serve as the first phase of this proposal.

Concept Development Fee: $3,500

This fee reflects the creative research, strategy, concept development, and design work invested in preparing these materials.
It applies regardless of whether the concepts are ultimately approved, revised, or not selected for production. Should we move forward together, this fee may be credited toward the initial engagement.

Professional Engagement

To provide consistent creative leadership throughout product development, I recommend an ongoing monthly engagement.

Monthly Creative Direction Retainer: $7,500

The monthly retainer includes merchandise creative direction, collection planning, product strategy, creative reviews, merchandising partner collaboration, product development guidance, creative approvals, and ongoing consultation throughout the merchandise development process. Additional production artwork, technical packages, packaging systems, or projects outside the agreed scope would be quoted separately.

Creative Workflow

Phase 1 - Discovery, creative direction, trend research, anniversary concepts, and mood boards.

Phase 2 - Collection development, product expansion, creative reviews, and merchandising partner collaboration.

Phase 3 - Production support, approvals, refinements, and launch preparation.

Phase 4 - Post-launch review, fan feedback, and planning for future merchandise collections.
